Spectacular views, Mike! I especially like frames 1, 5 and 6. I don't recall ever seeing IR images of trees in deep shadow (No. 5) where the IR "white" foliage effect seems quite muted. Interesting.

Thank you very much Richard, nice to hear from you. On that one the trees were in deep shadow from the sunrise on El Capitan. I remember you wrote once that you have arthritis I am getting it now too, it's a curse.

Sorry to hear that, Mike. My arthritis is mostly in my hands and deformed my fingers so I can't firmly hold a camera anymore,or safely change a lens. Fortunately, I don't have arthritic pain -- yet. I used to be a pretty good touch-typist, but now I'm reduced to slow two-finger typing with some errors. I'm taking piano lessons in an attempt to regain some control.

Yes,Yes,Yes,Yes and Yes!!! Mike, what a good thing to find your post tonight! Just a mystical way to view Yosemite Park. Usually I love the sky to be really dark as in 2,4,5 but when I saw the #6, I gasped out loud! What a stunner! Always glad to see your posts and the IR is a spectacular way to see classic images.

Beautiful shots, I have tried doing some infrared, but it's been guess work. How is the conversion made?

Thank you very much Carlysue, always so nice to hear from you, these images are not from this year, the first time in about 100 years I didn't make it up there for the spring. My wife wouldn't let me drive by myself and my designated driver my grandson couldn't make it. we try it in the fall if it isn't burn down.
