A very nice varied set; the pictures of the lake are my favorite. The moth shot is very nicely framed.

Beautiful series Sylvia! What is nice with the rescued Heron is the small fish he has just caught. Photos # 7 & 8 are tranquil...I would enjoy spending time in that area. All of your photos captured here could easily be utilized in travel brochures. Is that a lonely stretch of the road...only one car at Cafe 66?

Thank you very much jederick for your generous, detailed comments and thumbup so pleased you enjoyed them. Always enjoy you looking in. It was late in the afternoon when we stopped at the cafe not far from closing time. The A66 is a very busy, road in the summertime, as the Lake District is a popular tourist spot.

Not a very bright morning but we went out to blow the cobwebs away. Then headed back home along our route A66.

I put the Heron shot into the bin twice It was a long way away looking down and the tide was out, but I quite liked the the pebbles and the sand bank so I rescued it.

The buildings in the background of the sheep and lamb are Sellafield Nuclear Power Station.

The six spotted Burnet moth was very small hanging onto the flower in the strong wind.

Please try the downloads.
