The white is sand (actually, quartz crystals), found abundantly in the streams of the northwest Florida panhandle.

Lived in Sarasota for two years back in the late 1990's... Siesta Key at that time had won a contest for having the "finest" sand in the world. Pure white, squeaks when you walk on it and feels softer that super fine popcorn salt. Almost like talc...

Hi, I'm Zeena... I live on Venice Island Florida. I love it there too and I'm not too far from Siesta Key. I go there often. I love the squeaky white powder sand.. Right now I'm visiting N.H. Brrrrr!

were you purposely trying to underexpose this image? if not, it could benefit, IMHO, from some lightening up in the dark areas... i can tell there are trees and water, along with the sand, but no detail to speak of...
