Well, if you are into LARGE photos on metal, there is only one I know of and it is Image Wizards, 105 Rogers Rd, Lexington, NC 27292 https://www.imagewizards.net/products/

They are the only place for 8 foot wide photos on metal in America that I could find. Smaller photos are also available. They are grand to work with. I have an 8 ft. photo on aluminum in my front room. It depicts about 10 miles of Big Chico Creek Canyon, in Chico, CA I had it done in black and white. Tony

8 ft is a very large print. What camera, lens, and settings did you use?

adoramapix.com makes very nice metal prints, I have ordered several from them. I am very happy with their work and at times they run specials. I have ordered both color and b/w and they are all good. Give them a try and you'll be very happy.

Yes, I've used Costco. The quality was good - comparable to what I had been getting elsewhere. My complaint about most is their hanging system. I'm required to use wire in the galleries I'm in and the shows I do. Most don't have any way to attach wire. FAA puts a wooden square on the back which allows me to attach wire. Costco does the same but it's plastic. So far the screws are holding but I like the wood better.

I have been using Meridian Pro for over a year now. Their metal prints are excellent and pricing is quite good, especially when they are running a sale. Each month they feature a different product in their line as a sale item. They offer several different types of mounting solutions for their metal prints and their work is completed and shipped FAST! Check www.meridianpro.com for full info.

TONY EDLER PANORAMA PHOTO OF UPPER BIDWELL PARK, CHICO, CA

Black & White photograph, 2013
Satin finish on hard aluminum
8 feet long x 3.75 feet high
23 lbs. including 3” deep metal frame on the back to create shadows from sun.

The project started in November 2011 and took nearly 3 years to finish, most of that time waiting for April/May, the months when the air is clearest with the most pronounced cloud formations rushing northward along the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
6-sets of five photos (each 21.2 MB) were taken on March 27, 2013 at 2:30 PM in Raw format for a landscape photo then stitched together into high quality B&W 180-degree panorama Tiff photo using Photoshop CS5, Elements 9, Aperture, and Image Data Converter. This post-processing took over 150 hours. The final panorama covers 180 degrees and shows 10 miles of the Upper Park. The center of the panorama is facing NW. The right side (NE) shows the Big Chico Creek veering left out of sight and heading up and into the Sierra Nevada Mountains with 40 miles to reach its headwater. The left side (SW) shows the California central valley and some of Chico’s buildings, 4 miles from where the photos were taken.
