Thanks! Keep trying and try different angles, even if it means you are laying on the ground, sometimes in mud! :-) I love to shoot macro.

You obviously have flower photography down so I have a question for you. I am trying to photograph my Camilla bush and the beautiful pink flowers are washed out even in the shade and after adjusting exposure. There are highlights on the petals I don't see with my eye. Any suggestions? I'm thinking taking some cutting and tying a more controlled environment. Are some flowers more difficult than others? I didn't have this problem with roses.

I"ve trouble with pink too, my camera is usaully on auto and close up mode. Sometimes i make then more pink in my faststone photo shop. My camera is fairly simple I do not learn much about settings. There should be some one on this web that can help you. Keep trying and happy shooting.

hummmmm, not sure why you are having that problem... Interestingly , I just had a problem where I thought for some reason I was getting more blue than was natural. So I checked everything I could think of. I went back when the light was softer and later in the day and the problem was gone. So, be sure you are not shooting at the same time each day. Sounds kinda crazy and I never thought I was shooting at the same time, but when the light changed, so did my color. Give it a try.
Hope this helps.....
Let me know how it goes!
Happy Shooting.

Thanks! On the is site, the top of the top white tulip is a bit blown out, but not on the original. I loved these tulips! And like you, I love the white. Thanks for your comments!
