At least once a day my Ugly Hedgehog clogs up my Email and wastes my time trashing the daily spam. It is simple folks....if I want a contents subject I still have a Favorites Bar. How can I stop this nonsense without blocking the whole site?

sinatraman..........This is typical of today's world. If the above is a response to my question you assume incorrectly that I know how to follow your instruction.
I remain helpless without a link or better instructions.
It's always hard to know just what level of experience any member on here might have, but Sinatraman's short response was pretty much right on.
Up on the top of this page , you would click on My Profile then scroll down to where you can check/uncheck the choices for notifications
I turned off any notifications because I know I will be checking in here so often I wouldn't need a reminder. If you were eagerly awaiting a response to a question, you might want this turned back on for a while.

Anypage you look at the site thinks your following. Go down to the reply box and uncheck the watch topic box on every page you look at, Then you will get the one e-mail a day for the topics of the day

my apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I was typing my response when the person came to take me to church. Being pentecostal, we dont have short services so it wasn't till about 130 till i got back. In the meantime i see someone showed you how and included screen shot to. one day i gotta learn how screen shots are done. anyways my humble apologies and i hope you don't think im rude. far from it, mama raised me right.

Thanks..........I simply did not know what to do. The way the choices are listed I doubt I can limit the daily sending of the offensive daily repeated page.
Now I learn that any page I look at will trigger activity notification follow up. This explains my concern too. I lurk about the site therefore it is assumed I am interested.
I'll hang in for awhile. If I continue to dislike the heavy traffic I shall apparently need too opt out.
I am here quite a bit, and I get "NO" email notifications. That would bother me too.

Not true!
You may read any thread without e-mail to your address.
Only topics
to which you have posted a reply will generate e-mail. Even then you can "Unwatch" a thread at any time.
If you are active on the forum, then it makes sense to disable reply notifications and use Watched Topics (link at the top) instead.
Watched Topics provides the same exact functionality as e-mail notifications. If there is a topic in which you participated that has new replies, then it's listed there. Once you read it, the topic not longer shows up there until there is a new reply, at which time it reappears on the Watched Topics page.
