Hi there.... Has been a while since I have been in our group! Was wondering if anyone could tell me why my shots are hazy?? My lens is a Canon EF 70-300mm IS USM ...... This may have been a bit of a reach for my lens as I was about 150 to 200 ft away from the Hawk..... ? Not sure if this is my problem....settings were 1/800 ... F8 .... 800 Any help would be much appreciated!! :?:

I take it you are on auto focus? I would give a guess that the hawk is behind the foliage so that is why the hawk isn't in focus but then the foliage isn't either. Have you tried to manually focus?

Could it be fog on the lens from temp difference. Was the camera inside and taken out in the cold?

Was this hand held, as it looks to have a lot of shake.
