For those into warbirds, there is a wonderful and huge museum of warbirds and antique/classic planes and aviation stuff at the Chino Airport, in Chino, CA. Among the exhibits is a static display of a B-29. That's the model of bomber which dropped the pair of nuclear firecrackers on Japan to end WWII.

It is the Tennessee Museum of Aviation in Sevierville Tn. Pics were taken quite a few years ago. As I recall, most of the planes were airworthy. In addition to those I posted were a couple P-80's, a F-86 Saber, 3 Migs, and a variety of other displays. Nice visit that I stumbled across on a road trip.

The old March Field air base has a wonderful museum. They have a B25, B17, B29, B47, B52, and many other aircraft. They also have a P59. The first American jet.
