That's the one that I use. The cool thing is that if you have more than one camera, you can get extra sets of Uni-Loops for about $8 and attach them to the other bodies and use the same strap. I have them on all my bodies.

this is pretty much what i do. i use one strap all the time. i just swap the camera on the end of it. makes life so much easier.

Roni, just saw this video. Excellent. I may have to consider this product because the Nikon el-cheapo straps are nothing but crap. -FiddleMaker

I have gone through many camera straps trying to find one that was comfortable and did not attach to the tripod mount. I finally found the perfect strap. It is made by FastFire. It is a family owned company. It has a slide on the strap that is simple and comfortable. Here is the link: http://www.fastfirecamerastrap.com/

I hope this works for you.

I currently use a Black Rapid and love the way it slides and carries my camera, the strap in this video is very similar to the Black Rapid, but I like the extra wide shoulder padding. I will look into it as a replacement for my Black Rapid.

He also makes a good point about how the camera hangs when being carried based on where the camera is connected to the strap.

I tried connecting my Black Rapid to the camera lugs on top of the camera.

The carabiner connects to the lugs easily, however it changes how the camera hangs, making the lens extend outward where it can easily be bumped into, and it made the camera a little awkward to grab, exactly as was shown in the video.

By connecting the camera via the tripod screw with a plate allowed the camera to hang with lens tucked in and pointed backward, with the hand grip area right where it should be for easy grabbing.

Good info!

Don, looks as though you seem to endorse this strap in the video. I know your word is as good as gold. I'll have to consider this. Although I am not a photographer. I am just a dubber with a couple of Nikon cameras. So I cannot see myself with a camera over my shoulder for 2, 3, or 4 hours at a time. -FiddleMaker

Question: Do you find the strap slides easily to bring the camera up to shooting position? On my Black Rapid all that slides is the carabinier attached to the camera.

Don, the Peak Design straps slide very easily. No hindrance for shooting at all.

OpTech! I've tried many but these are great and attach to the camera lugs. I use it over the shoulder.

Fiddlemaker - apparently, many of the respondents are not reading your posts...they are merely responding like fan-boys for what what ever brand they use. :lo

But, l have used all of the brands mentioned - plus a few...And - like you - I cannot walk around with "neck jewelry". I can't - due to a herniated disk in my neck.

That is why I highly recommend that you look at the Peak Design strap - AND the Capture plate. Look at the various videos on it and it will make you wonder why there is any resistance to change in our hobby....

Connie, My D7000 and D750 came with shoulder straps. I'm surprised your D7200 did not come with a strap. I don't use them on either camera. I would prefer some sort of hand strap instead if there is such a thing. -FiddleMaker

Hello, My camera did come with a strap but it's small and is not easy to take off the camera.

thanks everyone, looks like OP/TECH is the winner. I have purchase the OP/TECH USA Utility Sling-Duo, lens loops and extra connecters. All for 51.85 not bad in my opinion. I hope it is as comfortable as it looks.

Everyone have a blessed day and thank again for the suggestions.

Gold? Maybe Copper ;)

FWIW - I do love my Black Rapid, but see that the extra padding and width of the shoulder pad should make a comfortable strap.

The Black Rapid could benefit from a little widening perhaps.
