Thanks Mike! I've never seen a red buckeye in spite of my name! ohio buckeyes is all I know. THAT:S pitifull!!!! The tree pics Jo sent are really beautiful. When I get over my surgery and get me a vehicle, I maybe should go check our the northern south once again :)

That is very pretty. How do we go about getting some of the buckeyes from you? I would love to start a few. Always room in the yard for one more.

Erv, if hubby hasn't given them away, I'll be happy to send some to anyone who wants them. They are so beautiful if there are several in a row down a property line, but I only had room for one. I wish you lived close. I have 15-20 growing under the main tree, but they won't ship well. It probably would be best to get the buckeyes in the fall and mash them into the ground where you want them OR put them in a plastic bag in the back window of a car and let them sprout, then plant them. They have to be put in pretty shallow. I will not foget, I'll ask if he has some left and let you know in a PM.
