Okay. First, you must resize the images to no wider than 600 pixels.

Then, you must know where in your computer the images are so you can navigate to that folder to attach the images to your entry or post, as it's called.

Up at the top of any page in the forum there is, on the bottom left in the heading, "Create New Topic." Click on that a white drop down box will open in which it says "Main Photography Discussion."

Click on the down arrow on the right and the selections will expand downward. Select "Pictures" and you'll be taken to another page where you will need to give a title and description of what your pictures are about.

After you've done that, below those boxes you will see "Choose File" with blank spaces out to the left. Click on the first "Choose File" button and navigate to the folder where you have your pics stored. When you select the first one to open, the name of it will appear where it now says "No file chosen." Repeat for the next two and then click on "Send." If you decide to "Preview" and click on that, it will detach your pics and you will have to repeat the process of choosing all of them. I don't use "Preview" because it only causes more work.

Another thing is that some users using various versions of Internet Explorer and Firefox for their browsers are having trouble with their posts making the trip. They've found that downloading Google Chrome and using it as their browser has fixed the problem. You can try it with what you're using but if it doesn't work, Chrome may be in your future. If that's the case, you just get Google up and on the menu bar up near the top, you want to select "more" and then "even more" and there you'll find Google Chrome. Clicking on it will install it on your computer and you should be on your way. If you get stuck, let you can send me a Private Message (PM) and I'll try to walk you through it. Good luck.

I had that problem yesterday. A friend on Facebook asked me if I had moved the pix to a new folder (yes). I downloaded to here from the 2nd folder & it worked!

Do you have a graphics program where you can modify your images?

You must have a graphics program to re-size with. In a graphics program in one of the menu selections you can find a menu selection that refers to re-sizing your images. Not all graphics programs have that capability. If yours does, then, after your image is loaded, click on it and you should get a chance to do the re-size. It should be no wider than 600 pixels for upload to here.

I'm sorry - that was vague. The next last line above should say, "If your graphics has a menu selection then load your image into your graphics program and then go to the menu selection that involves re-sizing and choose that feature." You image should be re-sized to be no wider than 600 pixels.

Picasa will do it. I cannot direct you to the exact menu selection but in most programs, it'll be under the menu heading of "Image" as a sub-menu down the list. It may come up showing you inches rather than pixels but should have a dropdown box that will let you change to pixels. If you get that far, when you're working with pixels, you should have the width and height measurements in separate boxes with width being on top. Just type 600 in that width box and then choose to save the image. I would change the name a little so you don't downsize your original, saving the re-sized image as different filename. I like to just add an "a" behind the file name that's already there. Example would be if the image is IMG_3223 I just add an a behind the last 3 and then save it.

I took the liberty of looking at your past posts and see where you had success with loading some flowers. I also saw where you have an aversion to Elements. Elements will also let you do the same thing. We're each different but I find Elements to be easier to use than Picasa but then I have an older version. Since you were able to get that first batch of images to load it could be that there is something else going on. See if you can re-size and if you're still having issues, you can send me a personal message (pm) by clicking on my name above my pic and then selecting "pm" on my porfile. Or, you can email me at gessmansr@gmail.com. Either of those would be a little quicker than doing it this way and having to wait for me to stumble onto your post.
