Thanks Pete for the windows catch. I had not noticed that they are showing much more detail in the color image. I lightened this up in the B&W and re did the photo. What do you think?
Also the lower left.....are you referring to the peeling paint that I touched up? You like the peeling paint?

Hi BrentHarder -
I am so sorry- Should have said the other left. I meant the lower RIGHT.
Don't know what it is, maybe a gate.

Still like the color.

I think I like the color. B&W needs more contrast maybe?
Both are very nice however! :-)

Both are excellent. However for me the B & W evokes more emotion for what a lighthouse stands for, guiding Mariners in bad weather. The clouds subliminally remind us of that. The color is great also, but for different reasons.

Today was interesting.......Memorial Day.......visited a National Cemetery and the Point Loma Lighthouse in San Diego. I really like the design of this image in B&W.......which do you like better? B&W or Color? Please download these.

Both are very nice but my preference is for the color. I see in color any way so the detail looks much better... Good job.. Thanks for sharing..

Both are great Brent! I prefer B&W. Mood is more to my taste.

Second vote for color ! :XD:

OK TucsonCoyote.....I think the color people slightly outweigh the B&W people.

(the OTHER left?) lol The lower right is a sidewalk. It really helps in the design and composition of this image I think. If you squint your eyes and look at the photo it breaks down to the basics.
