Nice shots! Sad to see them caged tho. They should be in the wild. Feel sorry for what we humans do to things.

Nice pics! We've been there often. Planned a trip over this week, but I think the floods will keep us home.

I hope the poor things have larger living spaces than what it looks like in the last pic. I used to love to go to zoo's because I am an animal lover but now I can not bring myself to go to zoo's with small enclosures, settings unlike their wild habitat and no interactive/enrichment tools. Without those things it just seems like they are being condemed to a life in jail (ofcourse this is just my personal take on things).

They actually have several large habitats for the cats, and are working on building more. Their goal is to have all of the cats in habitats, and out of the smaller cages. Unfortunately, all of this costs money, and they rely on donations, and we all know how that goes!

I agree, however these animals are unable to be released into the wild as they were raised by people, they don't know how to hunt for themselves and would not survive in the wild.

That's good to know, at least they are working towards a better living situation & since it's a rescue I'm sure that things are better than where ever these poor animals came from.

Maybe I am wrong, however the question must be asked to all who said nice photos. Did everyone miss the distracting fence lines?
To really get the nice pics, it would be suggested to move the camera lens closer to the fence to minimize the effects of the fence. Just a thought!

I agree. However, these animals are kept inside double fences, the outside "people" fence is about 3' away from the inside "animal" fence. This is for safety reason to keep peoples fingers from getting bit. It also makes it impossible get any closer to the fence to avoid the distracting lines.
