For me, this image evokes many wandering thoughts of what lies beyond.

Shot in an old abandoned house in a rural part of Central California with a Pentax ME Super using a Pentax-M 50mm f:1.4 lens and Plus-X film, ASA 125.

It sure does provoke imagination. Processing is wonderful - great gradations of color; great texture, composition.

Great shot. It makes me wonder where this door is located and what's beyond it.

Probably. But probably more interesting things worth photographing.

Thank you, Lobo. I would love to have been able to take that door home with me! I covet such things.

Thanks again, Edie. Yes, it was a very odd and ominous situation.... A very desolate and remote part of the countryside. I was very uneasy, to say the least. Lots of cobwebs and dust that hadn't been disturbed in decades. I did my best to leave no trace of my coming and going, but was fascinated by it all.

Thanks for looking, Collie Lover. It was located in a remote farmhouse in a remote rural area of Central California, near Patterson. It was a very eerie place, full of cobwebs and dust and odd items. Shortly after taking this photo, a person came in and politely but firmly asked me to leave. So, sadly I didn't get the chance to take more photographs. I asked for permission to take more, but was refused.
