Don't know if anyone has had this issue or not or if it is appropriate to post it here, but I have contacted windows, HP, and several others. I keep getting the run around...each one saying it is another programs issue. Anyway....once in awhile I get a pop up window that says " A script on this pg is causing your browser to run slow and if allowed to continue, your computer may become unresponsive." The other pop up also has to do with a script and it says "Error 53, access denied.
Have any of you had these issues and what did you do?
Thanks!
I know we all use pc's but dod you try looking for a pc blog site. Or maybe someone here can help. The only thing I can think of is a restore point prior to this message appearing. Or the extreme backing up everything you need on an external hard drive and start clean. Although you could reinstall windows with the original discs but hit the setting that allows you to keep your info maybe that will debug it. But back up info either way
What operating system do you have and which version of Internet Explorer are you using?
J...thank you for your suggestion. I don't really have the money for this. I have already downloaded and installed PC Cleaner that was suggested by Windows. Still has not fixed the problem. It also erased all my passwords and I spent hours putting them back on. Unless it guarateed me that it would help me, I'm gonna have to pass it up.
Restore to an earlier date before you started seeing the pop up.
All your passwords? Use the same one for all your programs. That way you only have one to forget!
Got hacked recently and was told to change my pass word---I simply added a hyphen(-)..............C

Pretty sure this is a free download to fix your error #53 as a previous member posted above.
http://www.errorhelpers.com/support/error-53.html?keyword=error%2053For some reason HP computers tend to have more than their share of problems with little quirky things like this.
Do a total shut down at least weekly.
Check for custom installation of windows updates and fixes.
Install and use one of the many good free malware programs. It's likely one of these malware scirpts that are clogging your browser causing the error.
Shaky....this is not a free program....you can download it for free and after it runs and tells you what all is wrong with your puter then it charges you to fix them.
this is what I do..take it to your local staples..and have a geek go over the puter.they are offering a $9.95 special right now..to clean up temp files etc. worth a try.
Thank you J. I checked this out briefly, but will look into it more. The error I'm getting is not a runtime error, its just error 53.
do you have a virus software installed, if so which one
Thanks, Walleye. I already downloaded this and then they wanted to charge me money I don't have to fix it.....surely there is something I can do to fix this that is free.
