I offer this composition for comments. There are so many variables to the best way to crop this one (Rule of Thirds, Rule of Space, general impact at first view).

This is No. 4 grandson. I used Topaz Simplify lightly.

What do you think about the cropping? I have a fair amount of image space outside of the crop. Thanks in advance.

Well done, remember you can always throw the rules out the window.

Natur3--You've posted this link to at least two different threads in the Main Photography Discussion. More appropriate to post this to the Links and Resources section. Thanks.

doduce - you triggered my curiosity. Natur3 has made 12 posts so far on UHH. Each one was the same - a link to the wallpapers. Think we need to advise Admin?

Thanks, lightcatcher. I realize I'm struggling whether I should move it about 5%. I certainly agree with your thought.

Dave, natur3 has more than one user name. It's spam and I've notified admin. but so far nothing has been done. I suggest you don't open the thread. Who knows what's attached to it. Nice shot though.

If the original image has more space on the right I would include that. It would be good to have more space in the direction that he is looking. I think your vantage point is too high. It would have been good to squat or kneel down to get the camera closer to his height.

About a gazillion folks have already reported this guy/gal. Either he/she has some off beat agenda or is totally clueless. But, no doubt our fearless Admin will be on it like white on rice. :)

This may just be me, but I find the pale triangle in the upper right to be distracting. Cropping farther to the right would "fix" that "problem" also.

I'm not sure about the cropping. I would like to know if you could have gotten down lower to eliminate the background rocks right off the bat. Many people don't pay enough attention to backgrounds. As for the various rules ... no them and then break them when you feel it right to do so.

The triangle in the upper right is distracting. I wonder if content aware fill in Photoshop could eliminate that and fill it in with the texture of the stones. I just got PSE 13 and I know they added that but I haven't tried it yet.

Personally I think the boy is the point of interest. He has a cheeky little smile that is adorable. Hope you don't mind but you asked what we thought - this is what I think.
