Was trying to access "frames" and lo and behold, "content" was gone from the windows drop down menu. Uninsalled and reinstalled PSE and its still not there. Any help as to what I have done and how to get it back will be appreciated. Its not a very big deal, but I would like to know where it got off to.

PSE 11 - The only Frames I can find is in Expert Mode > fx effects > Effects > Frame (on the drop down)

I have not found any menu item "Content"

I have PSE 9,11,12

In 9 I found the content > frames

in 11 and 12 - Fx effects > Effects > Frame (containing 3 mediocre frames.

It has been a long time since I used "frames", but I was sure I went to windows>content. then to one of two buttons that I can't remember. I am using PSE 11. Before I had PSE 6, so maybe that is what I am remembering. I found the 3 mediocre frames you mentioned. Thank you for your time and effort. This is a great forum.

That is my problem. "content" is not there. It has been a very long time since I wanted to use frames, so maybe I was remembering PSE 6. Thank you for your help. This is a great place.

PSE 7 has Content under the Window drop down menu. I see some frames and wallpapers and other things. But I rarely use PSE at all these days. Firmly a PS CS6 user today and just learning to play with Lr 4.

Many thanks. I used to have PSE 6 and now I think I was remembering "frames" from that. Its not something I use much (not in years) so I won't miss it. I am thinking of getting either Topaz or the NIK suite. Thanks again.

Found them in PSE 11.

Expert Mode, click onto the + sign (bottom right of screen "Graphics"

At the top right there are two or three drop down boxes,

Choose By object in the first box, Frames in the box underneath, then Show All in the top right box.

I think you can get to different frames somehow by manipulating the boxes and also going in via Fx mode and/or by clicking on the word little triangle next to the word Create at the very top right.

Thank you again. Got it, now. I wish you were here or I was there. I would buy you a pint (or maybe two....or three?) and some pub grub. Is that right? Good food? Anyway, thanks again.

Thank you, Merideth Images. Mrs Santa Claus just told me that, if I was nice (very difficult) I might get the Nik suite for Christmas. I appreciate the offer. I have been inspired by Bob Yankle to try some black and white. Or monochrome for purists. Thanks again.

My tipple is real ale served at room temperature, the British Beer, now sadly in decline. Goes well with Steak and Kidney pie - old fashioned pub grub - also sadly in decline. Always used to be a favourite for people like me, sadly in decline.
