Charlottetown City Hall is a National Historic Site built in the 1880s

Confederation Centre is a centennial project, built in 1964 in celebration of a 100 years since the first of the Confederation Conferences. It is on both Queen and Richmond Street, thus across the street from City Hall and right next door to Province House

Church Door. There are quite the number of stone built churches in Charlottetown near the water. Clearly historic, but hard to get a range for a shot.

Thank you. These will all be of Charlottetown. Corner Brook is pretty, quite hilly, and only a wee bit over 100 years old. The reason for that is The French Shore, another bit of Canadian history.

If you could see me, I would be mostly green. We had the good fortune to visit England for a few weeks but I wanted to stay two years. Such a beautiful country and your photos are excellent!

Lass, you mentioned hangouts.....
Well this town used to be a good ol' boy's town in that as long as you did not cause trouble, you didn't need to walk the line, and that fit my lifestyle like a glove!
Folks would rowdy on down Saturday nights and be in Church Sunday mornings and the biggest event was the summer corn festivals.
Now this series shows my hangouts and they are not places which draw tourists but they were, and still are, my playground. Deer, trapping, more deer, partridge, rabbits, coyotes, berries of all sorts, snowshoeing, hiking and just plain kicking back like the ol boys used to do.

This challenge runs Thursday through Saturday, however the challenge stays and many people post after the ending date.

Thanks Cricket!! It's just hard to be here at the computer...lol...I have so much to do with an upcoming show and my daughters wedding June 11th....also my daughter in law who has stage 4 cancer went into the hospital last night and has a lot of pain...she needs prayers ...she is beyond any more treatments but they are trying to adjust her pain meds...don't mean to be a Debby-downer..but she does need prayers...her name is Debbi...finally.....keep those wonderful photos of your towns coming in...loving it!!
