You should be very proud of your Son. I began my Naval Career at the Britannia Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, UK and spent over 30 years in the Navy. If I had my life all over again, I would do the same thing! Well done - your Son deserves your gesture.

Your photo stirs up so much emotion. There is no way to adequately say thanks to our heros in the military, but that hug is a good start. Pictures of families welcoming their loved ones home always brings tears to my eyes. Thank you for your sacrifice.

Appreciate your son's service. Great capture too. I participated with the MASS FOR HEROS program on 9/11 stuffing a package with items for our servicemembers. They shipped over 1200 parcels. I know other states do this hopefully your son was a recipient too.

My son is in the navy stationed in Japan, and every 4th of july our church has flags in the front yard for its members in the military and a special service for them. I put my son's flag on his bed and decided I really liked the light and what it meant to me.

That's a wonderful shot and a great idea! Send a thanks from all of us to your son, and we wish him to safely return home! I've included a photograph from me as well.

To our "Hero's", Thank you!
