Blood Red Moon - Lunar Eclipse Over Albuquerque

This is a composite of several moon shots taken last night at 10-15 minute intervals during the eclipse, then superimposed on a photo of Albuquerque's city lights. This is a first attempt at something like this. Hope to do better with the next eclipse in October.

Nikon D300
Sigma 150-500 @ 500mm
Different ISOs and exposures. Changed frequently throughout the night as the brightness of the moon changed.

Cybermomm, Very nice. We had high thin clouds all night, that moved in and out. I have not yet processed my pictures. Maybe tonight.

Amazing Shot Cypermomm. We had clouds outside of Pittsburgh and so we saw it but didn't. Parts of it would pop through but just for a second or two.

Great work! Plus, you had a clear sky the whole time! I only got one really fuzzy shot through murky clouds in C. Indiana...
