Not in 95 years at Fenway Park. When it did...Babe Ruth played.
I really enjoyed seeing this series. Ortiz was on fire. Amazing stats.

I enjoyed watching it and you are right, the man is a machine..
OF course being a Cardinal Fan, not too happy with results... but as in all games (where the umps don't cheat..hahaha) the best team won this time..

As a die hard Yankee fan, and as sad as I was that they missed it this year, I take comfort in knowing it's just a matter of time before Uehara signs with them. I tease a good friend from The Hub that the Red Sox are just a farm team for the Yankees. Roger Clemons, Johnny Damon, Babe Ruth, Wade Boggs, Waite Hoyt, Sparky Lyle, Red Ruffing, Kevin Youkilis. And someday soon we'll add Koji Uehara to that list.
St Louis ChickenShitz had to walk Big Papi 4 times so he wouldn't homer. Didn't work did it??

Why did you think it was necessary to say something like that.... IF the Cards had had a batter that good and Boston was not wanting him on base, don't you think that they would have done it... I seem to remember that they purposefully walked Molina twice a couple of games ago.

How to offend the maximum number of people in the shortest possible time - Lesson 19 in a series of 50.
The World Baseball champs for 2013 are the Dominican Republic. Your "World Series" is just a little local event confined, mostly, to teams from the USA. Congrats to the Boston (USA) Red Sox (Socks surely?) though, if they keep practising, one day they might be good enough to go up against the big boys.
Er! I'd love to chat more but I have to go and find somewhere to hide.
