First time into macro..
Me and wife went fishing. And I saw this spider on a bush, so I captured him and taken him home to try my hand into Macro Photography. Wow getting this guy to Pose was crazy. not only is he or she is fast, but wont stop moving. I had him for 3 days, even caught him a fly that he wouldn't eat, fly was live. So yesterday was Sunday and overcast the whole day. And I was able to get these shots, then I released him in my garden, hope my wife don't find him.

i like #2,be careful the macro bug might get you!
Welcome to the world of Macro. Looks like you are off to a good start. The little jumpers are always a challenge. They just don't like to sit still.

that little sucker was all over the place. I must have taken a hundred shots of that critter. just to get those 3.
Thank You.
Welcome to the "club". Now repeat this: "My name is "Forrestloop", and I am a Macro-holic...."
Yes, as CoolCameraGirl said, you have a jumper. They are quick. Generally, spiders prefer to catch their own prey-- was the fly alive? Hope the jumper survives.
Very nice, welcome to the forum.

Yeah the fly was alive, but the jumper didn't mess with him. And he was alive when I released him, and moving real good.
Thanks for your reply.
By the white abdominal spots, your spider is a mature female Bold Jumper (Phidippus audax). Immature Bold Jumpers have red spots.
I love the iridescent chelicerae.

Wow your spider is amazing. Love it.
What a great start, far better than my efforts with little jumpers. I think the trick is not to be shy with the shutter release. I have left my garden jumpers in situ so far but may try to move them temporarily to photograph and perhaps feed them some of the Drosophila flies that are plaguing my fruit bowl!
Thanks for these images, they're great! Keep shooting!
