I know the book is an easy read and some may find it useless, but there are a few good tips/workflow suggestions that people might find of interest.

Any comments or thoughts you would like to share?

I found tips 5,15,17 the most useful out of these. I never knew I should adjust for full sun or snow. I thought full sunlight was the best option for photography. 15) Gear envy, yes I need a support group for gear envy. I thought until I joined this forum that better gear would make me a better photographer, but now I'm learning a good photographer makes the photo not the camera (wish I would have knew that before I bought some of my lens)
17) There are no best brands. For awhile there I wanted to dump my Nikon and switch over to Canon, but giving some thought to it, they are comparable and the best camera I can have is the one that I own.

Look at the first two/three posts on the board, it outlines the reading material.

I'm thinking that everyone would read the book by the end of the month and respond or comment on what they liked. If you finish the book early, feel free to post about your likes/dislikes and what you found interesting before the end of the month. This board is in its infant stage and there is some kinks to work out which will happen in time.

I appreciate that the book was an easy read one. Even though I am aware of all that the book had to offer - it was nice to get a bit of a refresher course. Now all I have to do is put it into practice!! I'm looking forward to our next "assignment".
