Bob is always on me about my subjects being smack dab in the center. So.. I thought I'd post a couple that weren't. See Bob! I don't always have a bullseye! LOL
Boater on the Mississippi

and you also have the top image moving into composition, (more space in the direction it is moving or looking into). well done...
Thanks, Joso. I've heard alot of comments about that very thing so that shot fits nicely.

Let's not get a swelled head. My compliments plus $3.00 will buy you a cup of coffee. :)
Nice shots...Is that second one the "yellow brick road"? I love the composition...makes you feel like you're there walking down the road.
LOL Bob. Not to worry.. I'm well grounded.
Thanks footshift. I suppose you could call it the yellow brick road.. but it's just concrete with yellow leaves. Sure looks like though doesn't it. :) I like that area of the park. It's very peaceful. And guess what everyone! I bought my first dslr today! Guess what I got. A Nikon D7000 with an 18-105mm lens! I'm so excited and I have to wait 2 1/2 hours for the battery to charge. So I'm reading the manual. This is gonna be so great!

congrats on the new cameria. Only people of the highest taste and intelligence choose NIKON!!!!! can't resist starting up another cannon vs nikon war. If you have trouble with your manual, translating from japanese to englishh manualese can be horrible at times, I suggest the magic lantern guide for your model nikon. the guide can be picked up at camera stores or from amazon.com and is basicaly a manual written in easy to understand english rather than enfginer english. it will go through all your features and is small enough to carry in your camera bag for easy reference.
Thanks Sinatraman! I will be sure and look for that guide. I'm sure I'll need all the help I can get. It's probably gonna take me forever and a day to figure it out. But I'm sure gonna have fun doing it.
