Yes - the Z8. He already has a book out on the Z8, $49.99 for a 50MB download. That was fast! Waiting a while might be a good idea, though.
"Note that this is the preliminary release of the book. This book was written using a Nikon-supplied sample of the camera prior to the camera’s actual release, so there may be things that need still need to be added or expanded on. Also, not all byThom-supplied supplemental files may be available initially, as well. Purchasers will receive an automated email notification that points to free updates every time the book and its accompanying files are updated."
I bet John Greengo will soon have a video explaining how to use it. Writers must love it when a new product is introduced.
Yes, I saw that. I think Steve did himself a disservice by saying it's for wildlife photographers. He can specify settings for wildlife but also mention settings for non-wildlife.

$49 for download what would it cost to have the printed book?

Steve's is just $28.97. $49 is more than I would pay for a download.

I just wonder if he charges $49 for the download how much he would charge for the printed book or he doesn't have the printed book to sell? That is he bypassed a publisher altogether.
For my Z9, I have both books, Steve's and Thom H"s. Thom's covers more. My Z9 book by Thom is 1296 pages.

There's a huge difference in cost between offering a download and offering a thick paper book.

Look like he doesn't have printed books for sale. He only has downloaded copy. I hate to see printed books going away.

Yes, it's easy to grab one off the shelf to check on something.

Even if I don't read them, a wall full of bookshelves with books in them is good looking in the house. Not so much for the SSD that holds the PDF's.
