Oh-Six-Thirty In The A.M.
Maybe shouldn't have fed the cats and brewed a cuppa joe, but if I hadn't, the cats would've mauled me to within an inch of my life before I could get to the door. And just as harrowing, I might've been caffeine deprived, too.
And besides, the "park" is just a few minutes from home.
I really like this one, Jim!
Beauty!!
But I thought you were a better man than that. Letting the cats (!) rule the roost! What's a bit of mauling when it get's in the way of being a MAN in control of everything in your realm?
By the way, can you recommend a good brand of socks for use in hiking boots? Mine all seem to have holes in them. Come to think of it, it has only become a problem since the Princess Puppy CoCo came into my life!

This 'Princess Puppy CoCo' sounds like something of a diva, Cheef. Either that or *CoCo* is a sock eating tyrant from the Fifth Ring of Hades.
ALL of my socks (at least all those that I'm still aware of, and that don't otherwise reside behind my dryer) are brown. Except for a few pairs of 'heather gray' wool ones that are only good for extreme winter use, or are useful when I want my cats NOT to drag any of my brown sox around hither, thither and yon.
Don't know what 'brand' any of those brown sox are exactly. They (both the 'dress' sox and the boot/hiking brown sox [and the heather gray ones, too, actually] were 'purchased' from some outfit called "R&R" who supplied us NPSers with our uniform items, and were 'paid for' with annual NPS clothing allowance.
So to answer your question, I recommend brown sox.
A great way to start the day for all mentioned.
A beautiful vertical landscape.
Looks like one of the parks in Utah. Just got back from visiting Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. Sunrise and sunset in those parks is magical.
Fun story
Swell image- - loved the foreground detail👍

It's quite nice. I assume, knowing you, it's focus stacked. How many images?
