You have to wonder what people were thinking when they did these things. I know, they weren't thinking. : )

That pretty much looks like what I do everyday, except set in a mirrored bathroom. The only thing worse than the reflecting throne was the one way glass on the public bathroom on the city street in Germany. You could see them but they couldn’t see you supposedly. Nothing more self conscious than trying to take care of business while you watch other people walk past you.

I wouldn't be very trusting of that glass. Is that permanent? The system I saw was usually clear, but it turned opaque when someone went inside.

I kinda like the Chevy hubcap on the roof vent. It adds a little style and class to an otherwise mundane feature.

I can see a market for designer vent covers. Maybe a Cover of the Month Club.

The hub cap would have been great on a Mobil Home, Camper, or the like.

It's like having a tattoo in your private area. You paid for it, but not many people can see it.

A lot of people who have water issues in the basement set everything up on blocks.

When I worked in Minneapolis there was a restroom like that. It was fun to walk by, stop, look at the one way mirror and wave. You never knew if someone was in there or not, but it was a hoot to imagine someone standing at the urinal wondering if the glass was really one way.

One way glass on a crapper…some things just aren’t meant to be combined or in close contact. Camera lenses and sandpaper, sweaty underwear on a ballerina, mother in laws and holiday dinners, old men and self esteem seminars, you get the idea.

Yes, I've seen that. I would prefer a better arrangement for that furnace, though.
