Looks like Outdoor Photographer, Digital Photographer, and Digital Photographer Pro are circling the drain, along with others. It was good knowing ye, OP.

With so many blogs and YouTube for free why pay?

People, on average, are not doing "magazine" subscriptions like they used to do.
But I'll guess most of their revenue is from advertising clients. Are those clients reducing the amount of advertising they are doing?
Everyone is tightening the purse strings more and more.
Outdoor Photography is not the first, nor will it be the last.

From Wikipedia - "In early March 2017, the magazine folded, owing to declining advertising revenues from the consumer-camera industry. The March/April 2017 issue was its last."

I don't see Outdoor Photography in the article you provided the link for. Furthermore, I just received the June/July 2023 Edition of Outdoor Photography.

I never said it was "gone", I just said it won't be the first. Big difference.....
(See line one of my signature.)

The reference to the Wikipedia quote is in a new paragraph, simply supporting my comment about the affect of advertising revenue loss. It was about Popular Photography.

And keep in mind that someone has to update the list at Wikipedia as more expire.

My friend buys me a subscription to Outdoor Photographer as a Christmas present every year. For the last two years I haven't received anything. They keep asking for proof of payment, which she sends them, but we get no response.

I used to go to the library and read all the photo magazines. A number of years back I got tired of it. They don't seem to have any interesting things to say anymore.

This is an extensive and interesting list but not all the defunct magazines are listed. For example, Popular Photography, Modern Photography, Peterson's Photographic and I am sure many others.

No doubt, many others.
Wikipedia does not do all the research for everything contained in it, it relies on information contributions.
Maybe people don't know the list exists and needs updating.
Did you know the list existed before now?
