Ok, it's been pointed out to me that I am also getting a little slow at remembering the date and that I should edit this post but I can't get to the header to make the change. Therefor I'm counting on all of you to be smart enough to add 31 days to that date and we'll all be looking at these pictures posted for Free Sunday on April 30, 2023!!!!!

It's a new week starting tomorrow and that means it's Free Sunday. Hope to see you.

REMEMBER... YOU'RE POSTING FOR APRIL 30,2023

We both needed to get out of the house today, so we headed to a Model A meet in NH. Jim owns a model A and long ago belonged to a Model A club. Wonderful setting, gorgeous cars and nice people. Not all cars were Model As. I made it around once and this bug meant going back to the car and I napped most of the way home and for 2 hours after getting home! There were at least 100 cars.

Most interesting was a photographer/car owner who was making tintypes. He learned the skill from a Friend who made them for a living in Gettysburg. He made the camera and the lens is one from 1855. He said the print was a little darker than he wanted so next time he would try an 11 second exposure.

His darkroom - in the trunk of his car. Sorry the bottles are so out of focus. He had just cut a piece of aluminum, coated it, put it in a small tank, and was waiting 3 minutes.
