Swans: Post any pictures that you have...
I've taken pictures of Swans for some time. They are always so majestic and proud looking, and usually totally oblivious to what's around them, particularly us humans...

I have a couple. The first was shot on B&W Infrared film, which I scanned. The second is a composite of two digital shots of the same swan.

Swans are such a beautiful bird! We are blessed in Arkansas to have several flocks of Trumpeter swans now wintering here. The 1st, and largest is near Heber Springs, (actually at least 3 locations near there!).
https://www.arkansasonline.com/news/2023/jan/03/a-winter-playground/What started around 1993 as a trio of birds, now number in the hundreds!
They are super easy to access here(!), and they put on 'shows' for visitors (and photographers). My preferred timing is closer to sundown.

Good shots and post work. --Richard
Bridges, great shots. I alternate between the two as to which one I like the best. --Richard

I like them all, but your second one is especially beautiful with the wings motion stopped. --Richard

Back in 2016, my wife and I were teaching at a school in Albania and resourcing the leadership of a Mennonite church there. On a trip to North Macedonia, we got to observe several swans enjoying being close to an ancient monastery around Lake Ohnid.

I like that one also! It was actually kinda hard to pick and choose, I have taken well over 2800 photos of them..., during 10+ times times visiting them, but I only glanced over a few of them for this posting.
Didn't find my favorite one... but here are a few more. I particularly like the lighting of the evening/sunset shots. Hope you like them.
While visiting Stratford upon Avon in the UK I captured this photo.
