Hey y’all! Asking any Hogs who own this printer. I’ve had this printer about a month and it has a blue cast to all the print images! My monitor is calibrated. I use Canon paper and proper profiles. I print using Lightroom. I’ve run the head cleaning utility. I have to turn the blue slider in Lightroom All the way down and the printer will print an acceptable image. Any ideas? I have to print a sample image and adjust before I can print a 13X19 image. I’m running out of the Expensive ink!

I used to be in the printing business and I had this problem more so with laser prints than ink based but one thing I would suggest is take the print outside into natural light and see if it looks different. Sometimes indoor lighting can cast a blue/purple tint on prints. If it is still a problem I would suggest figuring out a proper color setting for the blue in your images. I have the Pro 200 and my biggest problem was adjusting the monitor brightness to match the prints. Once I got that figured out I have not had many problems.

I have that printer, also, but have had no problems printing. My monitor is recalibrated once a month. I presume that you are using Canon ink. When you select the paper profiles, do you click OK to register it? I don't have Lightroom, but if your monitor is backlite it will look a bite brighter then on the print. You might have to contact Canon service
to find out why. Their technical support is very good.
I have the predecessor, the Pro-100.
Do you have the Canon printer driver installed?
When it was new I had color trouble. The printer driver defaulted to "Printer Controls Color". Lightroom Classic defaults to "Lightroom Controls Color". That's one too many cooks stirring the soup! You can't have both doing the same job.
Most 'experts' believe that Lightroom Classic is the better choice and that you should turn off the color management in the Canon printer driver. It was not obvious where that was, but I found it.
After a few prints I tried it the other way and liked the results better. I have color management turned off in Lightroom and on in the Canon driver.

Two questions:
You mentioned a calibrated monitor (How?), but have you also downloaded the correct ICC profile for your paper, and do you soft proof?
Is it possible that both your PP application and your OS are both managing your printer. (should be just your Post processing Ap with the correct ICC profile downloaded and soft proofing enabled).

That shouldn't be. You said you ran the head cleaning utility; did you run a nozzle check afterwards?
Print this test image:
https://1drv.ms/i/s!ApNpngg2Z6dbhIYEVaNQBuYp2nUaWg?e=UnzGUBOpen image in Lightroom. Do not make any adjustments. Set the sliders in LrC to "0".
You could also give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON.

Return to factory asap
That's a bit harsh. Isn't it???
Not really if you let it go they might not recognize as factory defect. Talk to them and maybe they could fix it
Does that print directly from a SD card or flash drive? Try direct printing. I bought Epson ecotank 8550 and I'm on my 5th machine since June due to warranty issues

That's NOT what you said earlier. Now you're making sense.

I use a Spyder Pro. I use the correct ICC profile. I’ve never soft proofed but will try that. In the Lightroom print module I have the printer manage color perhaps I should change that?

I do have the Canon printer driver installed and have been using the printer as default color management. Thanks
