This movie is guaranteed to be a mega hit - "Dungeons and Dragons." As good as this will certainly be, I'm waiting for movies based on checkers and parcheesi. Apparently, a movie can be made about anything.

Sunday, 2:00 PM Amazon Prime.

There appears to be a whole series of D&D movies.

Wow, It's been some 60 years since I last played Parcheesi. Of course, it's been the same for Chinese Checkers too.

I have a closet full of board games. I should relocate them to the wood stove.

When I was a little kid, maybe 8, my favorite game was Assembly Line. You rolled dice and assembled a car. Even then, I was a car fanatic. There's one available on eBay, but for $499, I can resist. Oh, that was in 2010.

EDIT: Now available for $25 - $30 range. Of the four brands of cars in the game, two are no longer being produced.

Have you ever played Aggravation? My neighbor introduced it to me. I’m not good at it because I’m not a good strategist but her mom is a shark! I have more fun watching others play. I doubt that a movie will ever be produced but it certainly is a fun game.

The name alone would keep me away from that.

Those are all "wimpy" games, I'm looking forward to a movie about a really interesting and captivating game like Curling!

I don't know but I felt I wasted my $2.50 to rent the "Everything, Everywhere, All at once". How did the academy gave them so many awards? It's an extremely boring movies.

Unless it's free, I don't watch it. I'm paying three or four monthly TV subscriptions. I'm not going to pay for individual movies. It would cost me $15 to watch "A Man Called Otto."

From what I've heard, you have to watch it a few times to really get into it.

LOL, it was "free" for me on Spectrum cable and was ok, not great, and if it's the best movie of the year, that is a sad commentary on all the rest of the movies.

I think it won partly as a gesture for under-recognizing asian actors in the past. Often a movie or actor wins not so much for the current movie but to honor what they did before.

But it also won the best picture.

Right, and I don't have a problem with that. Imagine being an eighty-year-old actor and losing to a ten-year-old kid.
