Hi Hog friends. Please let me know what you think of these photos. Worked on them forever don't know if they are ready or not. This girl number 12 is the most hard nosed talented girl basketball player I have ever seen. She is big/tall, she just dribbles past everyone and she can shoot. Thanks BE SAFE!!

Tom

Tom in my opinion you should concentrate on the player no so much on what is going on around him or her. We care about faces, the ball and the player. You shouldn't have to take so much time on the editing if you have the shots right in the camera. Just my 2 cents. whatever it's worth.
Going now to shoot 3 state final games at the Thomas & Mack arena. Lighting should be very good. Our UNLV team plays there.

Tom - These are among your best. Very crisp, tack sharp and great colors. Looks like you’ve got Topaz on the mark. THanks again for sharing. Paul

Good luck at the finals games. Hope lighting will be as good as you say. You are so right on focusing on one player face and ball. Will work on that. going to get my 80-200 f/2.8 back out and shot with it. Thanks BE SAFE!!

Tom,
I agree with all the other posters here. Get low when you shoot, it provides a nicer background. I sit on the floor because my knees can't take it. Eyes, ball and shooting tight whether peak, celebration, or just staring hopefully at the camera. Your work keeps getting better, I think you nailed the white balance, exposure and sharpness.
