Well folks it that time once again, yup it's Free Sunday time to post what ever you would like so long as it's Family Friendly.
I don't know about you all but I'm pretty tired of this cold weather, so I'm going to share some Springtime Photos.
An 85mm portrait lens was never intended for this sort of image which was taken through a window at least 80' from the deer and then severely cropped. It's a testament to its sharpness that this picture was useable.

What a welcomed shot of color - thanks for sharing!!
Beautiful colors indeed!
Here in "sunny" California we are awaiting the arrival of yet more much needed rain and snow. It is supposed to rain tomorrow.
In the meantime, here is a photo from Lake Lundy located in the Sierra Nevada mountains just north of the little town of Lee Vining on US Route 395. Lake Lundy is not too far from the turnoff to Bodie Ghost Town which is a wonderful photo opportunity in fair weather.

Great start, Lesley. Good to see you.
While getting ready for the upcoming challenge, I had most of the gear out, so decided I would try capturing some smoke pix. I like to try because they are challenging.
Someone's reclining in a hoodie at the top of the plume.
If you don't have a fireplace, make one

Great capture Pat. Almost reminds me of Jesus leaning over and with wings behind him.
