Need photo gear advice for a very unexpected trip!

I recently told my wife I was thinking of upgrading my camera to a bit of a pricey upgrade. She said if I did I could go to he!!....!
I bought the camera, what lens should I take?!?

Well……………it depends. If you’re looking to just shoot “locally”, then probably a wide angle to short tele would be your best bet. But if you're looking to get shots of your relatives that have gone before you and taken the up escalator, then you better have a LONG tele with a TC! LOL

Remember to take along clean fireproof underwear. Mom always said you want clean underwear in case you’re in an accident.

This morning I told my wife that I was thinking of taking her on a 3 weeks holiday to the Maldives again. She said, but you've never taken me to the Maldives. I said well, I know that, but I've thought about it before.
