I was editing this underwater image of a Brown trout from the Bow river near
Alberta, Canada and I thought some folks might be interested in how it was made.
For under water shots I took a clear plastic Five pound dry bag, cut a circular hole and cemented
a optically clear round plastic lens made for an underwater housing.. I took my motorized Nikon camera with a 20 mm wide angle lens and when I wanted to make an underwater portrait of a fish, I held the camera in the dry bag and made dip and dunk portraits.
There are commercially made plastic underwater housings that would do the same thing but I thought this home made dry bag was interesting and have it used many times over the years when I was fishing and working on a fishing article for various outdoor magazines.
