Focus Stacked Image of Moth Antenna and Butterfly Wing

The moth antenna and section of a butterfly wing were staged for focus stacking sessions at 10X magnification. If one has ever picked up a butterfly and felt the talcum-like powder on their fingers, it is actually these microscopic scales like those shown in the image below.
