Hawks are easy to photograph. This one will stay in same spot for over ten minutes.

we used to scare it away but now understand that hawks gotta eat too. they have a tough time finding food. Our birds have become pets but we have so many, my wife wont miss one ot two.
By the size of his chest she is missing one or two....
This Coopers Hawk comes down & eats table scraps we put out for the crows.
Looks like he has his chest fluffed up.??
They do that when it is cold - better insulation !

Yes, that's what made the shot look even better. It was cold that morning,In the thirties. for the south that's cold.
