Thanks to Patography and her challenge “Slow Shutter” and to lhammer43 for hosting Another “Free Sunday”. A lot of great captures in them both!!
There comes a time when we just want to set aside for a few minutes and be Thankful for what we are, and the things that we have or cherish most.
Example: house, cars, boats, jobs. Does not need to be recent photos. Most of mine will be from my archives.
Very thankful for...
Mom who had epilepsy and raised 2 children and taught "The Facts of Life"

Those special times w family.

I am Thankful for Husker still being with us! He was DX with stomach cancer earlier this year. Since then palliative care consists of home made food with fresh veggies, fresh deer and or beef. We purchased a half of cow we from a local farm to ensure that it’s grass fed and no ugly extras in it.
So we also been using a quantum light panel, flax seed oil, cottage cheese and Metamucil.
Just had more scans done this past week and vet is amazed with his progress as are we! Tiny amount of growth, blood work is good too! His coat is super shiny and thicker than it’s ever been in his 8 years of life. Husker also suffered from severe hip dysplasia. Walks are limited and dictated by his pain level which we end up using meds for. I am not a fan of them by any means though but prior to bedtime I do administer and that has now become a little more frequent as of late. We all know how pain seems to be louder at night. The panel is an huge part of his treatment and he is active after having it and even plays with our sons dog. All in all I’m pleased and very thankful he’s still part of our life!!
I am thankful that he has found someone like you who loves him HAPPY THANKSGIVING
Thankful for: Autumn colors, Sandy Ridge Reservation bird preserve, concerts in Lakewood pk and wildlife in Ohio to photograph.
