For me, keeping things simple is exceedingly more effective than being a technocrat, ideologist, bureaucrat, careerist, or functionary, especially when inspiring someone less- skilled. I am more interested in the image results than the gear. I do not think mirror-less cameras add much to the outcome of an image, but more and more the convenience is hard to denigh. I do not care for live view personally, but have owned several Fuji mirror-less cameras with view- finder options, so that is really not a problem. I will buy the mirror-less replacement for the 1DX MK3 when it arrives, but for now the performance is outstanding with my current 1DX line up... especially with the outstanding face/ eye detection (in the view finder), and the mirror up corner- to- corner focus range. I may purchase a new Hasselblad X2D for landscape soon, so hopefully I comes across as someone not biased to a single brand. There is no one- fits- all camera for everyone in my oppinion, and the Nikon/ Canon/ Sony image quality battles have little meaning for me. I do prefer Canons color science, but respect for the resultant image from any brand. More and more, new techno- gear... or the- lack- of can have less meaning if you cosider the latest post prossesing software.

Pixel- quality trumps pixel- count, and many times an over abundance can be a negative. Pixels are only hypothetical math- based estimate of a sensors dimensions, so if a mirror-less or DLSR camera has a superior sensor, then nothing but applause. Gear may make us great, but education and skill can make us greater...

LOL! You may not come across as anti-mirrorless or pro one brand but you do come across as someone who has $50,000 + to spend on to new Cameras and lenses.
