I know it will take me a long time to do this, especially when I get to my bookshelf.

4 years ago I moved from a 1800 sq ft house to a 5000 sq ft house. Before I moved I filled three 20-yard dumpsters. Even then, I sold the house with a lot of furniture in it.

I'm a card-carrying packrat. I really don't want to know how much STUFF (read: things I don't really use or need) I have, let alone spend 5 years cataloging it. I have other things to do with my time.

If you haven't used something in 10 years,
Why hold on to it?
For the next 10?

Not bored, but obviosly lost. Should have found his way to the "Links" section.

But this is UHH where rules don't matter.

To be honest, I didn't notice, and really don't care.
I never look to verify that a post is in the proper section,
I just review the post if it is in my feed.
As a matter of fact, I don't even know in what sections posts are located, I just read them.

Could be a day or two before I notice that a thread was sent to the Attic.........

This will not be one of my projects. Thanks for the idea, though. I could see photographing everything in a certain category - tools, shoes, photo gear.

Because as soon as I toss it, I will discover I need it the next day.
