It's been a long time since I have had time to visit the Forums! Sections are in full swing. Was nice to be able to shoot in a warm environment for a change. 1 DX, 1/1000 - 1/1250, f. 2.8, 300mm, ISO 4000

Great action photo's and the 1dx is a solid work horse (use own 1dx and a 1dxmk2). I love the colors the 1dx produces, stellar. Seems like you had some really great indoor lighting for the settings you listed. Thanks for sharing.

It’s often said that expensive gear is not necessary for good photography but it sure improves your chances, particularly when you know how to use it. Great gob!!

Thank you, I started out shooting with a D20 and always looked for what I wanted next to improve the image in my eyes (mostly needing better high ISO performance) and gradually traded up over the years, and have always hung my hat on purchasing used gear which has been a god send! I have been extremely happy with the 1DX especially when it comes to indoor sports and those notoriously bad lit high school gyms.
