Another wonderful set. I was curious if you had shots of the Maasai men jumping, and this answered my question. Great captures. Thanks again for sharing.

This is the second part of the singing and dancing they did for us. It is a jumping competition to see who jumps the highest. I must say they are pretty good at it! Also a couple more of my attempts at portraits...

Never fear, there is a part 3 and 4.....

Very nice set.

Spectacular shots with outstanding color and energy - and I'd bet some of these guys could succeed in the NBA with that jumping ability πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°πŸ’°

Some NBA talent going to waste!

My first thought exactly! -- rebounding/slam dunk!!!

I talk about some players catching their chin on the rim - the guy who jumped 8 feet would be catching something else!

What a fantastic continuation! So effortless seem their jumps, by what you shared here, amazing!
There's a peacefulness that they seem to exude, and its evident in your images. These people sure do look at ease with life and the world they live in....
Bravo Beth!
Rob

Thank you very much. I don’t do people photos and I really wanted these to show the people and their way of life. They really are kind happy people.

Great set and very well done.

I have met a Maasai dancer back in the mid 70s at an International Folk Dance Festival. Your posting reminded me of a record height set in 2015. 8 feet and 4 inches! (https://biglife.org/program-updates/big-life-news/maasai-warrior-sets-sports-record)

Thank you for sharing your people photos. (One requirement for people photos: Show people. )
Great set and very well done. br br img src="htt... (show quote)

Wow, 8 feet! They really do make it look easy! Some were definitely better than others!
