Last week, my wife and I along with a brother and wife did a Viking river cruise on the Rhine. In Speyer, Germany, my brother and I decided to visit the Technik Museen instead of the usual "walking tour." We definitely made the right decision. This is the Packard-Bentley "Mavis." It was custom built by Englishman Chris Williams circa 2010 and has a Packard patrol boat engine from WW2 on a 193 Bentley 8 chassis. It's equipped with three fuel tanks with a capacity of 245 liters each (almost 65 gallons). Good mileage though, about 4.5 liters fuel per 15 seconds and weighs almost 3 tons. A beautiful beast!
As a side note, if you are ever in Speyer, forget the tourist stuff; this museum is worth 4 hours of your life.

It looks like it's worth a day or two. Great shots of a wonderful car
Not in the economy car exhibit, huh? Great find!
I like that kind of stuff. 👀👍
Very nice shot and an interesting narrative!
Nice! That looks like a great place to visit.
At about 14 minutes per tank full you should get around the track a couple of times. I think Jay Leno has a similar behemoth in his collection.

Yikes! Is that an inline 12 cylinder or a V24?
