Lighthouses of Northern Michigan

Michigan has more lighthouses than any other state (115), even more than Maine, "the lighthouse state". I don't fancy myself a lighthouse photographer as such and haven't collected an image-list of famous maritime structures but I AM enamored with the many moods and seasonal changes of the Elberta, Frankfort, Pt. Betsie, Old Mission, and Charlevoix lighthouses of NW Michigan.

Bob .., 1 & 7 really talk to me …Extroadinaire comes to mind ., these are examples of what I have admired about your work .., In this case “Yankee Doddle Dandy” Really applies …

I agree with Dr. Nikon about number 1 and 7 as they to me are the best of the lot and of those two I much prefer number 7. It's a very dramatic shot with the clouds and the waves coming in. Anyway I really like this one. Great shot and thanks for sharing it with us.

Nice images! I like your editing. The first and last are my favorite. My wife and I just came back from photographing many of the lighthouses in Michigan.
