Did you ever wonder why lots of large items come with two zipper pulls? It occurred to me a while ago as I was opening something. If you put the two pulls in the center, you don't have to guess where to look for them the next time. You can always go to the center, and you'll always be right the first time.
This reminds me of the switch from USB Micro to USB C. With the Micro, you always have to guess which side is up. With the C, you're always right.

I have put my reading glasses on when trying to insert a USB micro..bloody annoying!
Dang, I'm glad you're not talking about pants.
I solved my problem with only one pull by attaching a cord to the pull. (Used a Prussic [sp?] knot if you're wondering.) After a while, the ends unravel, giving a decorative tassel!
As to two pulls, they're OK _if_ I remember the case has 'em! 🤪

You still have to look each time just to make sure you have picked up the right cable end. The 'micro' and '-C' still look the same without my glasses on and that is another thing I have to look for now !
Ah, the things we ponder . . . .

Right. Those two look too much alike. I have a bunch of Micro-to-C adapters, so I can use USB C cables for almost everything.
Maybe so you have one left when the other breaks?

On some pants you may have three pulls. One the right leg, one on the left leg, and the one in the middle.
If it is five, the fourth one is the right pocket and fifth is the left pocket. If you are in a pool hall, then ...never mind.
On one of my camera bags, the pull tab broke and pulled off. Luckily, the second zipper pull is intact so it being redundant allows me to continue to open and close the bag. I doubt that was the manufacturer's reasoning for the two pull, though.

One zipper for expanding the volume as the second for opening and closing, perhaps. The double pulls to center is to be able to open for access to the right only, be able to open to the left only. This avoids opening the entire bag at once.
You have entirely too much time on your hands Jerry
Typically the advantages of two zippers is...time to open and close is halved as is effort.
And...you can lock the zippers together.
