I am restoring a few hundred old family photos left to me as the executor of my parents' estate. I need to share each restored jpeg. file to each sibling (7 members) who reside throughout the USA and the only practical way I can think of to accomplish this task is via a website. Can someone recommend the cheapest website build available which you have had success, or recommend a better way of distributing these restored photos? Any positive feedback will be appreciated. Thanks.

I just started doing the same thing. I'm using DropBox and it's working out well for me

Flickr is free up to 1000 image files. People can view and download the images, in their original resolution. But, if you really want to 'send' the files rather than just view with a download option, dropbox might be the better option. Depending on the foreign country, some share sites might have limited access from that foreign country.

One Drive is free if the total size of all images is less than 50Gb.

I believe the limit is 5GB not 50GB.

Ooops!!!

You're right! 5Gb! Sorry about that!

That's about 250 images at 20Meg each.

If you subscribe to MS Office 365 (or whatever they call it now), you get 1 TB of storage on your One Drive. Sharing folders of pictures is very easy. If you download an entire folder all at once, the photos come as a zip file.

Ahhhhh! We DO subscribe to Office 365!
THAT's why One drive is part of my Explorer display?
I think it lets me see MY one drive free account without logging into it!
That would explain a lot.....
Thanks!

The next time you open your One Drive, look on the bottom left to see what storage you're getting. If you subscribe to Office 365 with the same MS account as Windows, you'll automatically be signed in and get the 1TB. If you're using a different identity, you may need to sign onto your Office 365 drive manually. The free one that comes with Windows will be the one that you see automatically. You may have to download the image here to read it more easily.
