I sent this lens along with other Nikon stuff to MPB, they returned this lens because they said it did not auto focus, I had already traded my Nikon cameras so was unable to verify this. The lens is the original all metal 105mmMicro Nikkor f2.8, no mars, no scars, no scratches or dings on the lens, rubber is excellent, comes with both caps plus a UV filter. I think a fair price after researching on EBay would be $100 plus shipping. Will take a personal check or you may use PayPal.
This is an autofocus lens. It is from the generation of Nikon lenses that require a motor in the body to autofocus. See the coupling in the attached image. This lens will autofocus when used on any Nikon Full Frame DSLR such as the D600, D610, D700, D800, D810, D850. It will also autofocus on the D7xxx crop sensor (DX) cameras). It will not autofocus on the Z cameras, even with the FTZ adaptor, but it would still make a fine manual focus lens on those. I believe that there are enough compatible cameras in circulation to give this lens some value. It can also be used as a general purpose short telephoto/portrait lens. Most people would use manual focus for macro shots, and that's an option too. You can disable the autofocus on these cameras. I'm not sure what the setting on the lens for Manual or Autofocus does. I can't find the instruction manual online. The same setting on my 55mm f/2.8 AF lens just adds some friction to the focus ring.
