The lines in this challenge will lead us right into September!!! Thanks, Larry and Lesley (Photogirl) for challenging us this past week.
Leading lines are a composition basic - they may not even be lines but the composition will lead the eye along a path through the image.
I am dedicating this challenge to our friend "Roadrunner" (AKA Jim). Jim is a regular here and he's been laid up with a health issue. He asked me to say hello to all of you for him. He loves this forum and the friends he's made here. He also said he and his wife would appreciate any prayers you'd care to say for him.
So Roadrunner - this one's for you. Therefore, my first post will be of some roads and snow which are both things you love.
The Roadrunner - doing what he loves most: on a dirt path, camera in hand and - "layered"
Down the road after a rain
Winter's leading lines - or "follow the leader"

I really hate to hear that about Jim. (Roadrunner) I will definitely say a prayer for him. And I'll be back with "leading lines."
Here is a farm track taken during a visit to the Tomb of the Eagles in southern Orkney. I'll be praying for Roadrunner and his wife!

I’ll be looking for your post and I share your RR sentiment.

Lots of lines taking me through the frame and disappearing.
