First off, I apologize for the iPhone photos taken off the computer screen. The only internet access i have is the phone and if anyone can tell me how to save an email photo to the iPhone library, PLEASE tell me.
There were taken approximately 10 years ago with a Nikon D40 and D5100 using close up lenses and extension tubes on an old manual Nikon lens. I laid belly down on cardboard and hand held the camera. I really needed a bag of sand or something to steady the camera on, but the lens was mere fractions of an inch from the subject and anything I tried mashed the grass-dewdrop.
You can see the reflections (reversed) in the drops except for the one that acts like a magnifying glass. Getting things in focus is quite difficult and I think the first time I has 200 shots and kept 5-6.
If someone can tell me how to save photos on this phone I can post the originals. Oh, the next to the last is a reflection of the edge of the cardboard against the grass.
Can’t help with the phone, but these are interesting.
Too bad. Looks like they would be pretty nice viewed from a download. If you can't email them to your phone, maybe load them on to a memory card, put it in a card reader, & with an adapter you can hook it up to your phone. Apple & I'm sure others sell a lightning to USB adapter (if that is your connection type) for this reason.
At work I have a blown up version of the last shot. I use it when working with livestock producers concerning forages.
